As a part of our commitment to providing quality services to our clients, we have been revising some of the features of the device and website. The new devices will look almost identical to the current stock, and have the same basic features. The upgrades include:
• Changes to the power off button to include a delay of up to 60 seconds (this will be set to 15 seconds automatically though we can increase/decrease  as necessary
• No call barring, this means any one can make calls to the device (again, this can be changed to restrict incoming calls to the three nominated phone numbers)
• Charge point changes to a generic round pin charger

The website will also have several changes made to it:
• Battery level indicator*
• Start-up and power off notifications*
• Easier management of Safe Distances
• Increased map area
• Constant display of location reports
Safe2walk is pleased to announce that the new devices will be rolling out to clients as of October 20. Current clients will shortly receive a letter detailing how we are making the switch to the new website.
